Indian benchmark indices edged higher on Monday, with the Nifty hovering around 24,600, supported by gains across IT, realty, auto and metal stocks.

At 12:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 78566.42 up by 67.25 points or by 0.09 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24598.25 up by 27.6 points or by 0.11 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 78676.98 and intraday low of 78298.92 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24620.95 and intraday low of 24511.1

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 5090.40,+2.98%), Trent Ltd. (Rs. 3040.05,+1.34%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 190.50,+1.33%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 2027.50,+1.28%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2754.55,+1.23%), among others.
