Indian benchmark indices opened higher on Thursday, with the Nifty50 and Sensex advancing as investor sentiment improved amid growing optimism over a potential deal between the US and Iran, boosting risk appetite across global markets.

At 9:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 78723.7 up by 142.7 points or by 0.18 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24637.5 up by 12.85 points or by 0.05 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 78800.27 and intraday low of 78633.73 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24648.2 and intraday low of 24604.15

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 4987.25,+1.53%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1298.85,+1.39%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 315.10,+1.38%), Bharat Electronics Ltd. (Rs. 393.00,+0.98%), State Bank of India (Rs. 1062.95,+0.94%), among others.
