Highway Infrastructure Limited (HIL) has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) for toll collection and allied operations on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway.
The Rs 220.66 crore contract is for an initial period of two years, with an option for an extension of up to six months at UPEIDA’s discretion. The contract includes user fee collection, toll plaza operations and deployment of four patrol-cum-safety vehicles along with the required personnel.
The company will receive Rs 105.08 crore in the first year, followed by a 10% escalation in the second year.
HIL said the order strengthens its toll collection portfolio, expands its presence across India’s expressway network and provides greater medium-term revenue visibility.
