DMR Engineering Limited, as the lead member of a joint venture with Shri Balaji Hydro Construction Private Limited (SBHCPL), has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Arun Shakti Energy Private Limited for the formation of a new JV company.

The JV will execute Package-I works involving the construction of a coffer dam for river diversion and a barrage for the 24.60 MW Kamlang Small Hydro Electric Project in Lohit district, Arunachal Pradesh.

Under the proposed arrangement, DMR Engineering will hold a 51% equity/profit share as the lead partner, while SBHCPL will hold the remaining 49%.

The contract is valued at Rs 70 crore, excluding GST, with an execution period of 780 days. The order covers construction and execution of civil and related works for the barrage, tunnels and other project structures.
